In owners' own words

I have found a problem with my vehicle which is, according to nhtsa campaign number 93v125000, recalled for a safety purpose. A malfunctioning check valve in the fuel pump assembly causes fuel to return to the second tank and overflow. There is a great chance for a fire because of the fuel overage. However, Ford does not recognize this as a recall on my vehicle, based solely on my vehicle identification number. Fuel system, gasoline · reported at 150,000 miles
There was a recall issued but it was not on this vehicle, but this vehicle is having the same recall problem. Check vavle within the fuel pump assembly causes a portion of the unused fuel from one tank to be returned to the second tank. Owner has changed the fuel from the back to the front, but the fuel stills runs out on the ground. No either way trying to avoid using one of the tanks. Recall # 93v-125 000. Fuel system, gasoline
This vehicle is experiencing the exact problem as indicated in manufacturer's recall 6781, fuel tanks leak into each other, causing an overflow of one of the tanks. Consumer contacted dealer who stated that the recall repairs have been done on this automobile in 1995, and will not re-do them. Consumer has been the owner of this vehicle from 2/98, and has the same reoccurring problem. *Ak Fuel system, gasoline
