: The contact stated while traveling 50 mph, with prior braking, the front end of the vehicle impacted a suv on the driver's side. The airbags did not deploy when this occurred. The driver sustained minor injuries, although the seat belt was worn. There was a police report taken at the scene. The vehicle was towed to the contact's residence, where it has been deemed totaled by the insurance company. Air bags · reported at 136,000 miles
While turning a corner, another vehicle collided with the front passenger side of the consumer's vehicle. When the collision occurred the driver side air bag only deployed. The consumer claims that the air bag was emitted a blue smoke. Also the air bag did cause burns to both arms, removing skin from one. Driver was pulling into driveway when driver's foot slipped off brake and onto accelerator pedal. Vehicle accelerated, hitting house and cracking the foundation. Also, causing $4500 dollars worth of damage. Driver's side airbag did not deploy, driver sternum cracked. *Ak Air bags
