Reading the numbers

Across the 36 model years of the Honda Accord in this data, 2000 sits 5th by complaint volume. 2018 draws the most.

The median odometer reading at the time of complaint was 95,000 miles.

In owners' own words

My srs light on my 2000 Honda Accord has come on and it means my airbags arent working. I brought it in to a dealership and they gave me some bs about electonic interference. They didnt give me a permanent fix and im nervous that my airbags might not work. Honda doesnt have a permanent solution for getting the srs light fixed! Why do I have to pay for fixing a safety issue that clearly is Honda's defective airbags? Air bags · reported at 82,000 miles
With all the airbag recalls, is the reason they have not recalled them on my 2000 Honda Accord and my 1996 BMW 328ic because there are so few still on the road and should a death or injury occur, it’s only one so not worth recalling them? I find it hard that cars not quite as old have been recalled but these have not. My son still owns his 1999 Honda civic, too! Thank you for your time and dedication to safety. Air bags
The srs light will not go off after starting the car. It was tested by a Honda dealer and I was told that they reset the light but if it came on again, I would have to purchase a new srs unit at a very high cost. Three hours after leaving the dealer, the light came back on and will not go off. Since this is a safety feature like the seat belts, the dealer/manufacturer should replace this at no cost to me.
