I own a 2000 Toyota Camry ce 4 c - and had noticed that prior to the recalls my gas pedal would stick - sometimes not allow me to press it down. To this day, occasionally (maybe once every 5th time I an accelerating) I have to virtually kick the pedal to make the car go. While traveling and without any indication vehicle would idle high, which caused the consumer to depress brake pedal, but the vehicle continued to accelerate. Which resulted in consumer having an accident.*Ak the consumer stated she was involved in two accidents on 2 separate occasions. When approaching a parking space, the driver pressed the brake pedal and the vehicle accelerated. The vehicle crashed into a store window. Vehicle was taken to the dealer. *Ak *jb the consumer contacted the manufacturer who replied by saying that the incident was not the result of any type of manufacturer design or defect.
