In owners' own words
I have a 2007 Nissan Altima with approx 42000 miles. I noticed something hanging down behind the rear left tire. When I took it to the shop I was told that the rear sway bar was snapped in half. This car has only has one owner and has been taken care of. This should not have happened and Nissan needs to make this a recall, as it is a safety issue, and has been reported by so many people!! Heard a loud pop while driving forward, pulled over only to find a broken stabilizer bar, hanging on the rear driver side. Looked on the web to find many people having the same problem. Part is defective, called Nissan told it would be about $500.00. Owned many different cars and never ever had a stabilizer bar just break. Very disappointed with Nissan america....
