Takata recall. The contact owns a 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 16v381000 (air bags). The part to do the repair was not available. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Takata recall I recieved a recall notice dated july 2016 about this recall. I am told there is no resolution as of yet. Why??? How long will all parties involved with issue be allowed to stall and forgo the right course of action that is to repair the vehicles affected. Many innocent people are being put at risk needlessly by this course of inaction !! I respectfully log this complaint on november 23 2017. Air bags
Service air bag light randomly turns on and off for no reason. Code b1019 at dealership. So they replaced the module. $900. Still having random light on and off. They say they cant fix it without the light being on. I took it back in with the light on, he cleared the code and now says he needs it to come back on again. Help. I don't feel safe after reading everything about takata recall. Only have 63,000 miles Air bags · reported at 63,000 miles
