In owners' own words

I was exiting a highway and entering a right hand turn lane. There was traffic in the turn lane and I came to a complete stop. When I stopped my car shut down. I attempted to restart by pushing the engine start/stop button but the car did not restart. It took about 30-60 off trying the butting, attempting to shift into drive and opening/closing the door and trying to restart before I could get the car to restart. Engine
We were just told that the engine rod bearing on our 2016 Honda Pilot is going out. I see that the 2018 and other years have had recalls on this issue. I have read on different forums that owners of the 2016 are also having this problem. Can the 2016 please be included in the recall? My vehicle stalled and had a horrible noise while stalling. Dealership took it back to their shop as we thought if was due to yhe work they just finished and after inspecting they determined a rod bearing had spun. The safety issue is we stalled out on the highway in the middle of traffic, almost got into several wrecks with my child in the vehicle. Only light that came on while stalling was the check engine light. Engine
