In owners' own words

My issue is with acceleration of the car from the start and sometimes driving at lower speeds. There's a significant lag when you step on the acceleration and then it just gets activated and car starts accelerating rapidly. It seems that the transmission can't keep up with the accelerator. Also there's a vibration coming from transmission between speeds of 40-50 mph, in general I want to say that it runs a bit rough. Power train
At 130k miles my transmission went out. A known issue with the 8 speed automatic in the newer Camrys. I brought the car to transmission shop and they told me transmission replacement for my car is on back order and can’t get it for months. This is a known issue with Toyota and no recalls or anything. No check engine light or anything in advance, just simply gave up while on the highway and went into limp mode. Power train
My 2019 Toyota Camry SE experienced a transmission failure due to slipping gears. The issue became apparent when the car hesitating during acceleration, with noticeable jerking and a lack of smooth shifting between gears. Despite routine maintenance, the transmission’s performance progressively worsened, with the slipping becoming more frequent and severe. Now i'm unable to drive my car anymore. Power train
