In owners' own words

Pe02000, tire tread separation: while driving at 70 mph tread on the rear passegner's side tire came off. Driver lost control of vehicle, and vehicle spun around, and hit a guardrail. Driver was the only person in the vehicle, and was not hurt. Tire was a firestone, wilderness, original equipment. Firestone has not been contacted about the tire. Please provide information about incident in november of 1998. Tires
Spare tire was stored under the body in the rear of the truck. Consumer was about to change left rear flat tire and noticed the spare tire was missing. The cable from which the tire was supported, was dangling freely with no tire. My spare tire must have fell off the truck while driving without my noticing it. I looked in the owners manual and there is no mention of maintaining the spare tire holder. Tires
Oct. 15Th traveling from charleston s.C. To columbia s.C. At 920 a.M. Proceeding at about 65 mph. Left rear tire shredded causing control and noise problems. Stopped vehicle on side of road to find left rear wheel well and rear part of rocker panel completly destroyed. I have the names of two other individuals that stopped to assist in making the vehicle travelable. *Ak( dot number: 2028 tire size: p235/75r15 ) Tires
