In owners' own words

The automatic transmission failed in my 2018 Ford F-150. The vehicle felt like it went into neutral and then back into gear when taking off from a stop. Th vehicle only has 76,000 miles and i was told this has been an issue with this ford. I am afraid a person would run into the vehicle if taking off and the vehicle could not accelerate because it was not in gear. Service manager stated this is an ongoing problem. Power train
While driving at 55mph in normal traffic, the transmission downshifted from 10th to 3rd gear, then shifted to neutral, then back to 10th gear. While the transmission was hunting I had to brake and pull onto the shoulder to keep from getting rear ended. Once the transmission figured out what gear to be in, I continued to drive the truck home. It has remained parked in the driveway since due to unknown reliability. Power train
Transmission has a shudder when under a load. You can push the accelerator just enough at higher speeds that it doesn't down shift to make it shudder. Feels like a misfire but no codes. Also periodically when you put the truck in reverse is shakes. My dealer has replaced the torque converter and valve body on the transmission per fords recommendation but still no fix. Truck is still well inside factory warranty. Power train
