In owners' own words

The Infotainment screen has begun to delaminate causing the controls to unexpectedly change while you are driving. The infotainment screen in this vehicle controls everything in this vehicle to include the radio, climate controls, heated and cooled seats, navigation, phone controls, etc. When it happens it can be very distracting to the driver and could result in an accident due to the unexpected nature of the issue. Electrical system
The stereo system screen began delaminating approximately 1 year ago. The delamination causes the stereo to malfunction, make sounds, and cause a major distraction when driving. It has come to my knowledge that this is a very frequent issue in the 2018 Grand Cherokees. There were no warning messages, the screen just glitches and completely malfunctions which is making it dangerous to drive and manage simultaneously. Electrical system
After wide open throttle acceleration, vehicle continues to accelerate even after letting off of throttle. Had to immediately depress brake to its maximum capacity to slow/stall the unintended rapid acceleration. It has duplicated this behavior twice in the last 100 miles. The Jeep also indicates an error message regarding electronic throttle control error. Once again uncontrolled rapid acceleration after wot! Electrical system · reported at 6,100 miles
